Launching industrial products in to established markets can be one of the toughest challenges for a business when they have invested so much in R&D. So when Flexitallic invited Aspect to brand and launch their new gasket our team got work developing a mini campaign. Challenges included i. Promoting a product with a high unit cost ii. reaching an established market. So our team quickly identified that fitting the new product was quicker and more effective than the competitive solutions, by promoting this to off shore rigs, time saving makes the gasket’s unit cost much less relevant.
The marketing of individual products for Flex. followed extensive DNA marketing research work Aspect carried out. This involved 87 interviews over 5 weeks, trips to Houston Texas and a presentation to the businesses senior executives and owners in Dauville France.
Result: 12 month target achieved in 6 months
